Think about the air’s path through the house

A furnace can only do its job as part of a suitable system. Equipment sizing, return air, supply ducts, controls, and venting affect the installation plan. We review those details along with your comfort concerns.

Whether this is a replacement or part of a renovation, Atlantic Air explains the proposed setup and supporting work. You can compare the options and understand how the new equipment will connect to the home before installation begins.

Plan a furnace installation when

  • An existing furnace needs replacement.
  • You are renovating the mechanical space.
  • The current heating setup no longer suits the house.
  • You want to compare furnace and heat pump options.

What the work
looks like

A clear look at your system, a conversation about the options, and a plan for the work ahead.

  1. Assess the house and ducts

We review heating needs, existing air distribution, equipment location, and available connections.

  2. Review the proposed system

Discuss furnace options and any duct, control, or venting work included with the installation.

  3. Install and walk through

We check the completed system and show you the controls, filter location, and maintenance access.

A few things
you may be asking

Should the new furnace be the same size as the old one?

Not by default. The home may have changed, and the original selection may not reflect its current heating needs. The new recommendation should be based on an assessment.

Can existing ducts stay in place?

They may be suitable, but condition, capacity, and airflow need review. Any recommended changes should be part of the installation discussion.

Can the furnace work with my existing AC?

Potentially. The indoor equipment, controls, and airflow requirements need to be compatible. We look at the cooling setup when planning the furnace installation.
