What did the old system get right?

A replacement conversation should include the whole year. Perhaps the system cooled well but struggled in particular rooms during winter. Perhaps repeated repairs have made it harder to rely on in either season. Those experiences help shape the next recommendation.

Atlantic Air reviews the existing indoor and outdoor equipment, controls, air distribution, and supplemental heating arrangement. We explain which components need to change and what the proposed replacement is intended to address.

Consider a replacement assessment when

  • The system has needed repeated repairs.
  • You are facing a major equipment failure.
  • Winter and summer performance are both concerns.
  • You want to change the system’s configuration.

What the work
looks like

A clear look at your system, a conversation about the options, and a plan for the work ahead.

  1. Review year-round performance

We ask about heating, cooling, repair history, and the rooms that have been difficult to keep comfortable.

  2. Check the complete setup

Equipment compatibility, controls, ducts or indoor units, and electrical connections guide the replacement plan.

  3. Complete the changeover

We install the equipment in the agreed scope, check operation, and walk through the controls.

A few things
you may be asking

Can I replace only the outdoor unit?

That depends on compatibility with the indoor equipment and controls. We assess the system together and explain what the proposed replacement requires.

Can I keep my supplemental heating?

It may be possible if it suits the new configuration. Its condition, controls, and role in cold weather need to be reviewed with the heat pump.

Should I choose the same capacity again?

Not without checking the home and the existing system’s performance. Renovations, comfort concerns, and the original equipment selection can all affect the recommendation.
